These terms govern your use of the Recall Meeting application and related services. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Recall Meeting records audio from your meetings, converts it to text, and can generate written summaries and action items using AI. It can also display upcoming meetings from a calendar account you choose to connect.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering, and you must be at least 16 years old to use the service. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You are solely responsible for the legality of your recordings. Many jurisdictions require the consent of every participant before a conversation may be recorded, and the rules differ by country and by state. Before recording, you must obtain whatever consent the law requires where you and your participants are located, and comply with any policies of your employer or organisation.
Recall Meeting is a tool. It does not notify participants, does not obtain consent on your behalf, and does not assess whether a recording is lawful. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from recordings you make.
You agree not to:
You retain all rights to your recordings, transcripts and notes. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process and display that content back to you — for example to transcribe audio and generate summaries. We do not use your content to train AI models. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Transcription and summarisation are automated and will sometimes be wrong. Speech recognition can mishear words, particularly with accents, crosstalk, background noise or technical vocabulary. Generated notes may omit important points, misattribute statements between speakers, or state things that were never said.
Do not rely on generated output as an authoritative record. Review it against the audio before using it for anything consequential, and never treat it as legal, financial, medical or professional advice.
The service depends on third parties including Google, Cloudflare, Deepgram and Microsoft. Their availability is outside our control, and interruptions in their services may interrupt ours. Connecting a calendar account is also subject to that provider's own terms.
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Where a change is significant and we can reasonably give notice, we will.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or that recordings, transcripts or notes will be accurate, complete or preserved without loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of these terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
While we take care to protect your data, you should keep independent copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. The app can save a local copy of each recording and export notes as a document.
You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, or if required by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends and your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continued use after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Recall Meeting is operated from India and these terms are governed by Indian law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the paragraph below, the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer, nothing here removes the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where those laws give you that right. Where local law conflicts with these terms, local law prevails to the extent of the conflict.
